Will my visit be covered by my insurance?

As with any medical treatment, coverage and costs vary, depending upon the scale and severity of the condition, as well as the treatment method.  To see if the procedure is covered by your insurance, please contact our office at 410-665-3093 and speak to one of our friendly team members.

Do I need a referral to see a Dermatologist?
Insurance policies may vary and a referral may be necessary for insurance to cover your initial visit. Contacting your insurance company is the best way to determine your individual benefits.

What is a Physician Assistant?
Physician Assistants are licensed healthcare providers, trained by the physician, defined as dependent practitioners who work under the supervision of a Physician. PAs diagnose and treat a wide variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions that are medical, surgical and cosmetic in nature.

What should I expect during my first visit?
The initial visit is primarily a consultation and evaluation.  Procedures normally require a referral and cannot be performed on the first, initial visit.
